Screenplay Loglines In the Company of Kings(co-authored with Michele Zieger)- An historic epic in the same vein as Braveheart and Elizabeth, this is the story of a young Frenchman, Robert de Charney. Robert lives totally motivated by seeking revenge against Edward III, King of England, for the brutal murder of his mother when the English burnt their fishing village to the ground. Years later when England invades France, Robert hunts Edward down by convincing the French that he could act as an effective spy in Edward's camp. While in the English army, Robert discovers two things. 1) That it wasn't Edward who caused his mother's death, but rather a secret and powerful organization sworn to rid the earth of monarchs; and, 2) Robert discovers Edward is his brother with whom he forms a bond in the vein of Arthur and Lancelot as both men are committed to one another but are both in love with Edward's Queen. Against the sweeping battlefields of France and piracy in the English Channel, Robert de Charney proves his long-denied nobility by saving Edward from the insurgents and by giving King Edward a conscience with which to march across the pages of medieval history as that era's greatest monarch. A Terrible Loyalty- (co-authored with Terri Spaugh)- An action thriller in the same vein as Bourne Identity and The Da Vinci Code, this is a story about Matt Quinn, an assassin turned priest, who needs to find out if there was any foul play in his best friend's death. Not long into his investigation, Quinn realizes he is being hunted by righteous, militant insurgents within the Roman Catholic Church who want to do away with the current Pope in order to put their own man into the Papacy, thus catapulting themselves into international power. The closer Quinn gets to his answers, the more dangerous are the threats from a whole other world in which his best friend traveled. Set amidst Mexican earthquakes, Rome's frightening catacombs as well as its glamorous sites, and New York City's St. Patrick's Cathedral, A Terrible Loyalty takes us on a roller coaster ride of suspense, intrigue, and romance pitting a simple priest with killer training against the modern day Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
