Counter Intelligence- Zan, a Persian-American college student in New York City, confronts her boss's narrow-minded thinking in the weeks after 9-11. 1 Female; 2 Males. Mission Improbable- A New Orleans Katrina refugee is welcomed back into the arms of her family only to remember why she left them to live in New Orleans in the first place. 2 Females; 1 Male. Play Fair- A young poet, afraid that her business major fiancée's prediction that she's lucky to be marrying him because she'll never make a living as a poet, meets a young novelist who is willing to struggle for his art. 3 Females; 1 Male. Dixie- At John Glenn Middle School a new student's dream of being accepted by her peers leads her to trust them. As a result she discovers they're being as mean to her as she's been to new students at her old school. 20 to 25 Males/Females. Dancing on Daddy's Shoes- In a girls' boarding school at the start of World War I, the daughter of a prominent American military leader faces the reality of war's pain and discovers she has a heart as great and generous as her heroic father. 20 to 30 Males/Females.
